Ok soft launch over, and it’s time to add the rest of the polish and share some reviews with you.

I won’t share the emails that readers have sent to me.

Steven Healey’s post over at Prospect – 0 to 250,000 in 15 months

Suze’s post over at How To Write Better – Blogging Baroness cheeky moo ;)

Mike Korner’s post on Business Korner – business blogging lessons you don’t want to learn

Lilach Bullock’s post over at Socialable – Lilach calls me a serial blogger – pass the cornflakes ;)

and that’s enough about that.  I said what I had to say on this post last week :D

Guest posts, I have only written one this week but I had some outstanding and they were also posted this week making me look far busier guest blogging than I actually was.

I’m a blogger so sue me a little 800 ish word rant on being sued as a blogger… not happened to you yet? try courting a little controversy and no one cares. Accept a guest post and all hell breaks loose. Well not quite all hell but as near as the person could manage, and I’d give them 6/10 for effort.

A guest blogging two parter for Helen Stothard and her VAs resource site which is a must read for VAs.

Next week I will be focusing on Arrow and getting the timeless content scheduled across there and chasing affiliates.

What’s your blogging week look like???

  2. Hi Sarah
Came over from “For Bloggers by Bloggers” via your comment.

Looks as though I missed your launch but I’ll backtrack and take a read.

Thanks for the links and hope the site does well.

BTW – love your footer line…

    • Hey Keith
Thanks for the comment, my launch was very low key – half fear fuelled and half “OMG I am too busy but I have to do something…” :)

Genesis is nice to work with once you get used to it, and it took me some time to get used to it, in fact I hated it at first. What do you use for your site?

      • Hi Sarah
I use Elegant Themes and I love the theme, but it is so slow.

I’ve heard great things about Genesis (first heard via Danny Brown) and I’ve just bought the Pro version – great value for all themes and all future themes.
I’m hoping to set up a few client sites using Genesis.

Is this site basic Genesis or have you used a child theme?

        • I just looked at your theme – it’s gorgeous :) and Tom Breeze :D have bookmarked it to read and digest later :)

This is Expose on Genesis, and my main site http://www.birdsontheblog.co.uk is Serenity, I have the developers pack and I have a new look every day, some days ;) I think there are now 37 child themes to choose from and you can easily customise them to fit your site.

I find Genesis needs less plugins, and the SEO is reasonably good.
