On The Blog

Sarah Arrow owns and manages several multi author, magazine style blogs. These sites are content rich and filled with useful information that grabs the readers attention.

Birds on the Blog

Blokes on the Blog

Africa on the Blog

Mums on the Blog

Food on the blog

Home on the Blog coming Spring 2012

Each serving a specific niche, Birds is business women challenging stereotypes, Blokes is the male ranting space and Mum’s the multi author mommy-blog. We also have “Food” where Lisa Attias is the editor and is bringing together people from many backgrounds to write about their relationship with food.

Birds is the most popular by far and advertising is done in 2 ways, editorial, which is paid for and show as that. The site gets in excess of 25,000 unique visits a month as is already popular with brands who love the diversity of the site and the reach that it has. The average Birds reader is 30 years old, works in their own business and has just started or thinking of starting a family.

Blokes is edited by Barbara Saul, who sponsors both sites as well as creating the magazine feel, and keeping continuity. Blokes is growing a different audience to Birds and their audience is older and has different interests.

Africa on the blog is the voices of the African people, in diaspora. They share their thoughts and feelings about all kinds of information that is relevant to the African community. So far, it’s the fastest growing of all the blogs and has a different reach and audience. Expertly managed by Ida Horner, Africa on the Blog is a fascinating read with a small but thriving community.

All the blogs in the OnTheBlog family blend experienced and new bloggers from diverse groups and backgrounds together.

Both sites are active users of social media with Twitter and Facebook fan pages.

If you wish your brand or products to reach a wider audience in their respective niches you can contact Sarah on Sarah@birdsontheblog.co.uk
